I am heading of for my last Christmas fair of the season to ✨✨✨✨Grayswood Village Hall, Surrey. ✨✨✨✨ Saturday 10th December for the Home and Vintage Christmas fair. A beautiful fair with Christmas carols, homemade cakes, mince pies and mulled wine. I'm taking with me my homemade Christmas Decorations using antique curtain brass curtain rings, millinery and ribbons, lavender filled Ballet sachet ornaments and lots of worn and preloved quilt scraps and fabrics, vintage quilts and lots more. It's so nice to be wrapped up in vintage pink creativity. 💝

Finally Christmas is on its way
I'm attending 3 fairs before Christmas, the first one will be 19th November in Lewes near Brighton.
A new fair for me but Lewes town is a lovely place with a great atmosphere and I look forward to taking part.
The next fair I will be attending is in Devizes, Somerset, this fair has an excellent reputation and I look forward to being part of their Christmas fair.
The last fair of the year will be back on home ground again, this is the 3rd fair I have done with Home and Vintage, I love their fairs, beautifully organised and I can't wait to emerse myself in all the Christmas magic of this fair.

Looking ahead ... Let's start sewing
I'm just back from selling some of my beloved quilts and textiles at a lovely fair in the Cotswolds. Such a beautiful place near Stow on the Wold and Burford. We had a 2.5 hour journey which wasn't too bad but the wind was awful and we missed a falling tree within an hour of passing it. Thankfully no one was hurt.
There were quite a selection of lovely stalls, a few of my most favourites who feature at fairs near to my home town. So I felt in very good company.
The Cotwolds is definitely quilt country, such lovely people came and visited my stall and they certainly love quilts like I do.

So many people are as enthusiastic as me for scraps and love to sew. I had quite a few quilt scraps and remnants and my last 2 remaining sample quilt bags that I have been coveting for a few years were snapped up within seconds.
