The pretty month of May

I love May, such a pretty month, the flowers are popping out everywhere and our thoughts turn to our homes and gardens, or holidays and day trips or just a chance to rest out in the fresh air with the knowledge that winter is long behind us.

Country style is my kind of style. So for me the thought of heading out in the garden means bringing out my freshly washed vintage patchwork and Durham quilts and cushions and maybe a country homes magazine or some other inspirational read and taking in the fresh air.

I do like to share a bit of country with you all and I make to sell  cushions, pillows and lavender filled tokens from  remnants of vintage and antique quilts and fabrics.

I take my homemade along to some lovely fairs along with my beautiful vintage and antique Durham and patchwork quilts and other decorative items. One particular fair this May is The Jampot Vintage Fair. With so many lovely stall holders with an eclectic mix of furniture, kitchenalia, French, shabby, farm rustic, gardenalia and a lovely variety of homemade  I often end up buying more than I should. But I do love a good fair ❤️
